LIVING ROOM
The spacious living area has a casual and relaxed atmosphere where guests can entertain or just relax and gaze at the ocean. The room boasts two large French windows that open out onto the verandah affording guests the opportunity to take in magnificent views of the ocean and tropical mountains from the comfort of your rattan chairs and sofas. The living and dining area also includes a satellite tv, dvd player and CD system. It also comes equipped with a microwave oven, toaster and refrigerator.
BEDROOMS
Imagine waking up each morning and looking up into the thatched eves of the ceiling and then pulling back the curtains of the enormous french windows to reveal a panoramic view of the ocean just 40m from the villa. Villa Pao Pao has 3 air-conditioned double en-suite bedrooms. All bedrooms are spacious and offer large king sized beds with mosquito nets, red teak wooden floors and are tastefully decorated in mustard and jade colours. The two upstairs rooms have french doors that open out onto the balcony which runs along three sides of the house and boasts spectacular views of the sea and gardens.The downstairs bedroom also has French doors that open out onto the verandah.
KITCHEN
Villa Pao Pao offers basic cooking facilities within the living and dining area. Main meals can be prepared by your own personal cooks (affectionately known as ‘Aunties’) in a separate kitchen house just 50 metres from the villa and will be delivered to your table. A small charge for this service applies. The ‘Aunties’ are able to cook tasty traditional local dishes which we would recommend. However, western food can also be prepared to cater for children or those without an exotic pallet. Food is bought fresh and, where possible, is grown in the gardens. Local fishermen bring the nights catch to the door in the morning – check out the king prawns and squid!!.
VERANDAH
A spacious balcony runs along three sides of the villa on the first floor. Sit out on the water hyacinth colonial chairs and breathe in the tropical scents of the gardens. The two upstairs en-suite bedrooms open out onto a traditional verandah where you can take in the breathtaking views across the bay.
SWIMMING POOL
If you don’t fancy a dip in the ocean then perhaps lounging by your own private pool is the answer. The large pool is set just a few metres to the rear of the villa and can be accessed via a path planted on either side with tropical trees and flowers. The pool is a tasteful moss green and offers fantastic views of the sea.At it’s deepest the pool is 1.8 metres. The kids won’t feel left out as there is an large area in the pool to safely paddle in. There is plenty of room to sunbathe too and umbrellas offer welcoming shade. A small traditional hut provides the perfect place to sit and enjoy a glass or two. Around the pool are many flowers amd plants illuding to a tropical paradise.
GARDEN
The villa is set in it’s own private little eden brimming with tropical flowers and fruit. Brightly coloured hibiscus, palms and lemon trees create your very own tropical paradise.Special care and attention has been taken to plant flowers that attract butterflies and other beautiful wildlife. Fruit such as lemons, cashew nuts, pinapples, papaya and bananas are readily available to pick from the myriad of trees surrounding the garden. A patio area to the rear of the villa can be reached via a stunning wooden pagoda planted with jasmin, acamanda and other climbing plants.

Villa Sepoi Sepoi is located only 40 minutes away by car from Lombok’s Mataram airport. It is 30 minutes away from the tourist resort town of Sengigi, 15 minutes away from Tandjung and 5 minutes away from the five star Oberoi hotel.
The only 2-storey building in the villa, the master bedroom building, forms the southern side of the courtyard. Up the steps to the “Gold” master suite, one enters 1,000 sq feet of pure luxury. There is a spectacular view out over the Lombok Straits to the Gili islands and Bali and one can enjoy the glorious sunset from the balcony with a gin and tonic. You can relax in the wonderful master bathroom and refesh in the walk-in shower. There is a study for those who need somewhere quiet to think and a private massage room/yoga studio. At the end of the evening, sleep awaits in a luxurious 4-poster bed.
The Blue and Chinese rooms are on the ground floor under the master bedroom. The Blue room has 2 large single beds and 2 further single beds which can be rolled out of sight during the day. There is also a day bed for a nanny. The Chinese room has a double bed and a lovely view out towards the sea. Both rooms enjoy access to a secluded sand garden with chairs for a quiet nap or undisturbed book reading. Both rooms have large en-suite bathrooms with large bath tubs and walk-in showers as well as private out-door showers at the back.
The Yellow and Orange rooms form the eastern side of the courtyard and back onto the villa’s own orchard with a tranquil, rustic feel. One can relax on a daybed and watch the birds and butterflies. The Yellow room has a large double bed with its own en-suite bathroom and outdoor shower. The Orange room has the same 4 large single bed arrangement as the Blue room.
The Green room is a stand-alone beach bedroom situated in the gardens with beautiful views directly onto the beach. There is a large double bed with a private terrace with sunbeds for total peace.
Every bathroom is fully equipped with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and bath-salts made of tea and honey. Robes, slippers and towels are also provided for the guests’ use. All the hot-water is solar-powered in order to reduce the impact on the environment. Similarly, towels will only be replaced daily at the guests’ request to reduce excessive laundry

There are 3 large air conditioned bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom. The well tended terraced garden has an abundance of tropical plants and shrubs and an enticing 9mx4mx1.5m deep pool. The shaded gazebo, with its sun loungers and deck chairs, which is adjacent to the pool, is the ideal place to relax and enjoy this tropical paradise. Other: To the rear of the villa there is a ‘back’ kitchen (which contains the cooker), a utility room with toilet and washing machine and a store room. Cleaning/towels/linen/maid service: All linen, towels etc are provided and are washed and replaced, as required, by the maid. There is a gardener / maintenance man on-site daily.

The villa has a beautiful terraced garden containing many tropical plants and shrubs which is lovingly maintained by the gardener. The private 9mx4mx1.5m deep tiled swimming pool is a joy. The large shaded gazebo, adjacent to the pool, with its sun beds and deck chairs is the ideal place to relax. The gazebo has its own cooking facilities for el fresco living!
Coast/Beach
It is only a short walk to the nearest beaches - a 10 minute stroll - but, if you would like to go further afield, (the entire coast line is fantastic), then you can take the local bus or a taxi, both of which are incredibly affordable! This is a tropical paradise, so the choice is endless.
Distances
The village of Senggigi, which has many restaurants and shops, is about 3km. The only town (Mataram) is about 30 minutes by taxi or minibus. Mataram is the only town that has any sort of western shopping and has a modern shopping mall.

Lombok, situated about 20 miles SE of Bali, has a population of about 3 million. It is a fascinating island and is said to be what Bali was like 30 years ago. You will find beautiful empty beaches the length of the west and south coasts, wonderful, friendly people, a way of life that you will envy and prices that are amazingly affordable.
Lombok is also famous for its diving and snorkeling - particularly off the Gili Islands - which are well worth a visit for the diving, beaches and atmosphere.
